Shadow Shots: Lurking

Lurking in the Shadows

Gatsby, willing the window glass to magically disappear.

*P.S. Note the object of his desire - a bird out there on on the porch floor.

Our cats are the same - what do they really see out there, anyway?? I feel that their territory is bounded by the walls, glass and vinyl siding. But they watch and 'protect' us from all enemies, real or imagined...

Gatsby is a beautiful feline!

What fabulous shadow shots! I love Gatsby -- what a fun name for him! And the shadows on your deck along with the bird are perfect! Have a great weekend!

hehe...that's cute! While Gatsby is willing the window glass to disappear, that little bird is most likely praying it stays firmly in place :)

Our late Gus loved to plot the demise of the birds that sit on the old fence in our 'backyard' ...

Word Verification: catsistr .. seriously ...

I have been working on paying better attention to details in pictures and was highly disappointed with myself that I didn't notice the little bird until I read your note! Great shadow shot!

Lovely! Does he chitter? I had an orange boy who did this little chattery noise every time he saw a bird through the window. Like a small vocal machine gun sound.

MyMaracas said...

Sally, he doesn't chitter, but he makes a pathetic moaning sound and lashes his tail. It's pretty amusing.
