I'm hiding, I'm hiding
And no one knows where
For all they can see is my toes and my hair...
- from Hiding, by Dorothy Keeley Aldis
This little spider reminded me of the children's poem I learned long ago.

freepy but a very good composition with just the spider against white. Great angle to just the way we seee them come
I ment creepy ofcourse ;-)
Nice shot and that little poem is perfect for this image.
I think it's more disturbing when you only see part of the spider. You can imagine it's much larger.
Oooh...great shot...but it also makes me shudder! :D
Creepy....yes, I hate spiders! But you were kind enough to give us a warning on the Macro Hub links! And that was truly very appreciated. I was braced and ready to run away if need be.
Excellent photo skills, and TALENT!!!
Here is my Macro Monday...Penelope Pelican, if you'd like to stop by to visit with me today!
The poem is perfect for this shot. Creepy, but wonderful.
Great shot..wow! very cool!
Kiki~
I like it - the shot, not the spider, I am not so keen on that.
What a wonderful capture .. not overly fond of bugs .. and I totally hate spiders but this shot is wonderful.
omg, not my favorite... where are your lovely flowers and moonbeans and sunshine or whatever. Good grief too much realism for me.
I'll give you points for bravery, though.
Wow look at that creepy crawly, it makes me shiver, not a big fan of spiders, but you made it an interesting pic :)
i almost cried seeing this.
that was very brave of you.
Great shot! Shows the character of your subject as well as his likeness! ;)
Thanks, everyone, for plucking up the courage to look and for your kind comments.
It really was a very small spider, and his failed effort at hiding from me made the experience more comical than scary.
THis one is freaking me out a little!
Oh cool..now that I am over my fear of spiders..very neat...
