Shadow Shots: Signs

So Blue

Signs

What do you suppose it means when a grown woman can amuse herself for hours with a feather and a rock?

I'm not sure how to answer your question...The feather looks like a quill, a fountain pen of sorts. The plume is simply shaped, perhaps aerodynamic. The bird that lost this one probably does not miss it. Thus, we admire it, and like you, stare at it. And were grown ups too :)

I think it means she's probably a photographer. :))

The feather itself almost seems to be a shadow...

IF SHADOWS

If shadows could jump,
How high would they go?
As high as the moon?
Does anyone know?

If shadows could weep,
How long would they cry?
As long as it takes
To climb to the sky?

If shadows could laugh
And tell funny jokes
Would you take them home
And say, “Get this, folks!”?

If shadows could wed,
Would they prefer you
Or somebody else
To promise, “I do”?

...it means that she must be a kindred spirit! I can easily do that. Or with rocks and leaves. Or, just rocks.
Glad I stopped by here-great shots!

Yep, I agree with Paula! We do have fun playing with those cameras, plus all those other little feathery, rocky, leafy things don't we? These are great! Hope you have a great day!
