Shadow Shots: Morning

I originally photographed this turned 90 degrees right, horizontally. But when I experimented with it this way I noticed a shadowy, shrouded face in the upper left corner. I liked it better with that subtle presence, almost like a dream in the process of evaporating in the sunlight.

Immediately I thought of the Turin Shroud! The shadowy sacred shape lingering in textures! And here, a hand reaching for some sacred spirit! Very beautiful and quite moving!

The hand is limp, it seems that the subject may be in a deep slumber while so relaxed in the soft material. The feeling is mysterious in light and shadow, a bit surreal - yet feels so comforting!

"a dream evaporating" is an excellent way to describe it!
