A carousel is a throwback to a simpler time where the best entertainment is to ride in circles on horses painted in bold colors. The rocking chairs as a place to relax harken back to these times. In this busy world, we seem to demand excitement that keeps us active when all we want to do is slow down...in a classic rocker, moving yet going nowhere - slowly!
