The beach wheelchair is a wonderful thing - I have used them on Cape Cod beaches in the town of Barnstable. To glide (sort of :) over the sand is a real treat. Nicely captured!

Love the beach wheelchairs-as I know it is impossible to get a normal wheelchair across the sand.

A sturdy looking beach chair. Those wheels are like mini tractor wheels.

Hi, everyone, and thanks for your comments! I had never seen one of these either, and was intrigued. It does look homemade, and it does look like a moon vehicle, doesn't it? And according to Ralph, these work very well on sand, too.

I like this a lot, with the subtle sepia tone.
