Shady Ladies
There was standing room only under the branches of a lone tree in an Ohio pasture. It was growing conveniently close to a fence, so I was able to snap a few shots of these curious cows.
They seem to have that look that says "I hope you have a release for this unauthorized use of our images"...but that would imply that they are deep thinkers :)
Those are fabulous shots! Love them! How nice that they were near the fence! Late in making the rounds this weekend-was at Picurus Pueblo yesterday for their Feast day and heart-stopping pole climbing and dances. I wish I could’ve taken pictures, but none were allowed of course.

They look so placid, but I'm guessing that if you went for the calf, you'd see different beasts altogether!
