Don't try this at home, kids



This is a clip of Gene Kelly tap dancing on roller skates that was featured recently on either a PBS or History Channel TV show, I forget which. I wouldn't have thought this was possible if I hadn't seen it myself. It made my evening, and I hope it gives you a smile.

Everyone idolized Fred Astaire, but I've got to say that to me Gene Kelly was THE best.

I have never seen tap dancing with roller skates. He does a wonderful job!! Thanks for sharing this.

Kiva - I agree. Kelly had such a glow of joy about him. It made you feel lighter just to watch him. Astaire was amazing, but he was cooler, emotionally reserved.

Betty - I'm glad you liked it! I had never see this either.
