Photo Hunt: Shoes

Silvershoe3

The PhotoHunters' subject this week is Shoes. We explored this one a while ago at Round Robins, where my furry faves got the star treatment. This time around, a forlorn silver slipper caught my eye, left alone without its mate on a pile of rubbish behind an abandoned house.

Imagine it shiny and new, carefully chosen for a special night. It may have danced at a wedding, or maybe a prom, and dangled provocatively from the dancer's toe as she sat, resting. A very little girl might once have slipped it on, and dreamed a Cinderella dream.

Be sure to stop by at to see what everyone else found.

Cinderella came to mind too looking at the picture.

Aw, poor shoe. What an interesting photo and story, though.

I did Photo Hunters, too! :D My "shoes" are old... much older than this Cinderella one, though!

Wow, I cannot imagine how someone could leave behind such a shiny, beautiful treasure!

Great shot.

Happy Hunting. Hope you can stop by and mine.

What a lonely shot... but a life well lived... sure does tell a story... if one listens carefully. Wonderful!

Love the pic, love the story you wove to go with it. Very sad. I hope the shoe got a lot of love and use before it got left. I hope it went dancing.

I hope the story that goes with the shoe isn't as bad as the shoe looks. Nice capture.
