Monday Photo Shoot: First Days of Fall
Here in Indiana, the leaves are changing and the goldenrod is in full bloom. Early mornings and late evenings, it's too chilly for the bees to fly. It's easy to photograph them while they hang there, seemingly in suspended animation.
Stop by at Carly's place to participate or to check out other entries in the Monday Photo Shoot.

Hi Vicki :)
Oh what a pretty little bee. I love bumbles, but haven't seen as many this year, compared to others. This is such a neat photo, especially with the dots of autumn color in the background to bring it warmth. So lovely. :)
Always, Carly
Lovely photograph .. great shot .
What a neat shot! I didn't know bees couldn't fly when it's cold out! Of course it so rarely gets cold in Florida, how would I have know?!
Love the bee hanging upside down.
I love it when these guys slow down so much! You captured the bee and the Goldenrod beautifully:)
I feel like I should be standing on my head to look at this shot. I love it. Those goldenrod make me sneeze. Great shot.
Oooo, you even captured the transparency of the bee's wings. That goldenrod makes me feel that autumn must be coming soon.
Oh, that's excellent. I like the in-focus bee and flowers contrasting with the out of focus background in a different color. Very nice!
