Ruby Tuesday: A Riot of Red

Behold Chickadee's, a jam-packed little gift shop on US 31, all decked out for the holidays.

For the full effect, click the photo to see the details. It isn't red, but I especially like the angel weather vane. And the pointy birdhouses. And the sun thing... This is pretty much what my house would be like if nobody stopped me.

Check out Ruby Tuesday over at Work of the Poet, and join us, why don'tcha.

Oh I absolutely love this shot, what a cute lil country store. I'd so go in there.

There is just enough red here, the holiday bows on the fence post and wreath. And the red neon 'OPEN' sign. a very nice store with a bit of gingerbread house in its shape. Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Liked the picture, also liked the comment "this is just what my house would look like if nobody stopped me."
I am also being stopped now and then, for the common good, I presume.

You and I must be kindred spirits. These kind of primitive stores tug at me wherever I go. I would love the tall Santa and snowman by the door!
I do try to remain stylish in decorating the outside of my house though. It can get overwhelming.

What a fun looking store. I'd love to browse in there, hot cocoa in hand.

That place looks lovely! I remember when we were in Florida some years back that we loved popping by these kind of stores, I remember a chain-store, its name escapes me, that has quite a nice old fashioned feel to it similar to this one. Although I do prefer *the real deal* of course:)

I have a feeling it would take a long time to actually see all there is to see at this place! I love the way you composed the shot with the birdhouse in the foreground.

There is just enough red in this photo to make it beautiful isn't there?! I also see a red OPEN sign. :)
My first Ruby Tuesday.

Nice shot.
