I love the juxtaposition of the nearly dead clinging to the last hope of life, losing it's last hurrah with the tiniest shadow remnant, against the brilliance of the new growth. Beautiful shot!

Sun wasn't cooperative yesterday. It shone early and when the time I was ready nothing rays came to "hi" to me.
So, I catch some poor shots while doing my chores. I like doing my household chores in the evening.
