Monochrome Weekly: Wraith
Maybe I should have saved this one for Halloween. The "wraith" is a moth on my patio door at night, but I don't know what the white orb is. The flash did not fire.
It actually photographed more as a golden sepia, but I like this spooky grey, grainy effect that happened when I completely desaturated the shot and boosted the contrast. ( I hope that's not cheating. I'm new here.)
For more photos in black and white, check out the meme at The Monochrome Weekly.

Looks like a soft pastel too. Enchanting little thing-
We have a moth called the Ghost. Also white.
Not sure if this is spooky or sensual. :D
Very nice macro. It's quite cool.
Beautiful image!
cheating? naw .. its a nice shot and I like the texture
My brother in law used to say "If you're not cheating, you're not trying" :)
A special effect indeed, the grain fits well.
Very cool shot. Maybe the white spot is a reflection of a light inside the house. Doesn't matter--pretend it's a comet.
Whatever it is, the whole image in incredibly awesome!
