Pumpkin leaves are huge and make for deep shade below. The flowers seem to glow at the edges and to hold shadows deep inside.

Shadows in Boston Downtown!
Oh, how delightful! Love the colors and shadows and it is indeed an intricate flower!
Enjoy your day!

The pumpkin leaves are big and provide shade to the sprouting gourd underneath. The large leaf portends life for the vegetable as it absorbs the light it needs, yet not allowing the sun to harm the gourd. Nice!
Lovely shot. Hmmm... mouth is watering thinking of a good filipino dish out of squash flowers with coconut milk with a touch of ginger. Yummy...
Cheers!

Bye Bye Ed Sorry but I dont have a blog. Wish I did
That little bee knows a good thing or two when it sees it. How warm and inviting is this beautiful flower. And think of all the pumpkin pies waiting to be made down the line!
Makes me hungry. A couple of summers ago I got to taste deep fried squash blossoms. So very, VERY good.
The colors are so lovely together.
That is a very pretty shot...

Next summer, I'm scattering pumpkin seeds to the wind to see just where these rapid runners head to on my six acres...could be interesting and surprising in the fall, with bright splashes of orange dotting the prairie grasses.
Lovely photo ... beautiful shadows!
Hugs and blessings,
