Macro Monday: Small Treasures

Small Treasures

(OK, so it's Tuesday. Better late than never ...)

The carved shell here is a little over an inch long. Small polished stones, a geode, and partially petrified shells fill out the collection displayed in a pottery dish one of my kids made in an art class.

Check out more close-up magic at Macro Monday.

That's an awesome photo!!! I think I can see a heron [or egret] in the carving? Wow....and the pottery dish...that is priceless!!!

Thanks, Karen. I still love earth tones, though they're very 80's.
;-)

Anni, you do, you do see a heron ... or maybe an egret ... or a stork ... Something stork-ish, anyway. There are four of them on here, actually. I do love miniatures.
