In the half-light and on black, the rainwater looks more like molten metal, doesn't it?
Once the sun came out, the frame cast a complex network of shadows, too.

The puddle shadows and brilliance is wonderful, artistry we would never consider but know it when we see it :)
A chair without cushions is a great photographic subject - the usual makes for nice art if we stop and think about it...
What fun, different shadow shots for the day! Love those puddles! And Ralph is right -- the usual does indeed make for cool art!! Enjoy your weekend!

Thw water droplets remind me of seeing mercury drops rolling about (in science class way back in school!!)
Great shots!
Love the color and texture.
Very nice patterns have been formed there.
ordinary stuff can look so good when you show it the right way. Or maybe different way.
maybe something for my new meme starting monday. :)

Those raindrops do look as if they are frozen molten metal! What beautiful artistry! And love the jungle of shadow lines in the last photo!
You never know when shadows will turn up.
I will never look at water droplets the same way on metal after seeing what beauty you have captured here!
I would actually print out and frame those first shots .. they are so crystal clear ! Well done you!

Those little water puddles are so cool! It seems to be raining everywhere this weekend! I hope you enjoy your Sunday!
Yes, yes, great shots!
Water drops look so dramatic on black...
I love that first shot the best!
so many wonderful foto ops in just the span one afternoon's shower!
These shadows are quite intriguing.
The shadows are great, but I especially like the water droplets in the first shot!
