This funnel shaped stack is unique, at least to my eyes! I am most used to straight and tall chimneys.nothing with angles or arcs like this - although function defines form usually. Happily, the form trumps all - what a cool find!

I couldn't help but notice that in the middle shot, the cloud has the same sense of verticality that the chimney stack does!

You're right, that's a fascinating piece of architecture! It seems like it should be so simple, but it must have been pretty complicated to design and build. Great find!
