52 Photos Gallery 31: My Work

Work: Physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something. - The Free Online Dictionary

This one stumped me for a while. I'm retired, you see. But I am directing quite a lot of physical and mental effort and activity toward producing interesting images and becoming a decent photographer. So here ya go: This is me, exploring the macro potential of a cheese grater.

That counts...right?

Loving all your macro shots! I don't know why you are 'bored' with it though! Maybe you're not into macro like you thought. Other subjects? Landscape? Abstracts in general? Be patient as you journey on finding your 'voice'. And don't delete them! Perspective changes over time. Maybe, just maybe it has more to do with not taking yourself seriously? Conjecture on my part, for sure.

I'm sure it has never crossed my mind to photograph a cheese grater! Very creative!

yea, I guess that counts. :) I never tried that one. Don´t think I´ve ever seen one like this before.

Paula, actually macro is something I've begun to do to RELIEVE the boredom I've been experiencing. Now that you mention it, I haven't done abstracts per se, either. Maybe I'll try that too!

Betty and Nature - I'm still working on taking "the picture you've never done before". Cheese grater was definitely new. LOL

You can see though the holes on the big side to the inside of the other two sizes. I'm still working on it.

Actually, I think this is quite amazing!!!

Skimmed through your blog photos for a bit this morning and came across the road sign and really had to giggle on that one. The road stops at the water. Too good.
