Razor

Confession time: I have a toy box. Several, actually. Plastic bins full of interesting junk that might come in handy for photography someday. There's the liner from a cereal box, several dozen egg shells, string, pressed leaves, buttons, broken tools...you get the picture. So to speak.

Included in the pile are the salvaged head components of a discarded electric shaver. This is one of three  blade covers, photographed on a Fisher Price tracing toy (back-lighting box) I held onto from when my kids were little.

Hoarding. It's a Good Thing.

I am glad you said that..yes it has to be a good thing...i do it all the time. I must drag out some stuff to photograph. I do take out my son's old books and toys for his son:)
Great image - very inventive too:)

Definitely different! Those contrasts could make a lot of great edits.

I've got lots of craft supplies, but oddly never really think of using them purely for photography, thanks for the inspiration (great photos too!)

Cool results♫ Now that you've photographed it, will it still be saved? Just wondering♫♪ http://lauriekazmierczak.com/door-to-possibility/

I would never have guessed. But of course I have no such items in my home. :) It is beautiful.

Lmkazmierczak - Oh yeah, I'll hold onto it. You never know when pieces of a broken shaver might come in handy.
