Ruby Raider

For this week's Ruby Tuesday, let's pay our respects to an old Navy warbird.

Once upon a time, her wings split the clouds and her engines shook the sky.

Earthbound, she still watches the horizon and dreams of flight.

I love planes and we had a friend who used to take us up in his small plane which was so much more fun than flying in the bigger ones is today. Great choice for Ruby Tuesday

If my memory serves, that's an A4 Skyhawk. Quite a hot-rod of an airplane I'm told.
nicely shot too!
