Ruby Arches

There's a new, red bridge in town connecting the city's oldest park to its newest.

I like the contrast and the way the support structure echoes the arches in the church windows.

Be sure to stop by MaryT's place for the rest of the entries in Ruby Tuesday.

The arch with the cable supports looks like it is part of a bridge. Fitting as it it leads to a church, and the arch is part of the bridge leading you to the sanctuary. A nice contribution!

I do like that it mimics the arches of the church window. I wonder if that was on purpose.
Lovely capture for Ruby Tuesday.

I like the red of that bridge, in harmony with the Red of the Church.
Great composition.

Seems like a lot of suspension for a fairly small bridge, but I love the metalwork inside the arch. I don't believe I've ever seen one done that way.
