Awesome shot and a great old house. When I see buildings like this, I like to imagine them when they were brand new and see the pride in the owner's face.
She certainly does fire the imagination! What a great way to describe the house, too. She's still beautiful; just needs some touching up here and there.

Beautiful place! It reminds me of Meek estate, here in the East Bay. I love old homes like this one. I can imagine all kinds of stories about them from the romantic to the spooky. LOL. Right now it's raining outside, so spooky is on my brain.

What a great old house. A tin roof. And it looks as though someone lives there. What I wouldn't give. I wish someone would come along with lots of money and fix her up. What a beautiful place she would be.

Nice to see I'm not the only sucker for a pretty face LOL. I'd love a chance to restore and live in a house like this too. The tower would make a terrific writing room. And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to discover a ghost or two in residence.
Wouldn't it be great to decorate for Halloween and Christmas?
P.S. Somebody IS living there, which is why I didn't get other angles. This was the best I could do without trespassing. Pity. I bet there's a wealth of photo ops inside, too.

What a shame to see her neglected like this! She should be given some TLC and restored to her grand beauty! Places like that make great wedding venues for small intimate romantic weddings, during the week they are used for business meetings,etc. At least that is the trend out here. Some have been made into a bed and breakfast type. She just BEGS for that TLC and to be put back to use.

Oh my! The first thing I did was enlarge it and start looking. I have this thing about looking for ghosts in the windows. I'm weird that way; but, I could swear there was a face looking out of the middle window on the right.
It would be so wonderful if it were restored.

Oh, wow. Wonderful photo, but what a shame that it's been allowed to fall into such a state. It doesn't even really look salvageable, but I hope I'm proved wrong before it's too late.
