Shadow Shots: Gingerbread

Finally, a little sunlight falls on the frozen north. Here it's slipping through the front porch gingerbread and getting caught in the curtain.

How I'd love to bottle it for a dark-day treat.

Alas, we cannot capture the moment in a physical sense. We do, however, have the means and method (and hard drive) to review the sunny solace and remember the fine warm scenes. The psychology might say that the visual will make us feel a bit warmer. Nice warm view!

The shadow looks like a HUGE butterfly! Or maybe it's your guardian angel. :)) Very cool shot.

The person who discovers how to bottle sunshine will make billions. Maybe it will be you!

SILLY SHADOW DITTY

Shadows may or may not be
Patterns of urbanity.
If a shadow threatens you,
Here, my dear, is what to do:
Grab the shadow by the throat,
Toss it to a billy goat,
So the goat can chomp and chew,
Keeping it away from you!

Sorry to be so late responding to your kind comments and getting around to you all. Internet access has been iffy this week.

Looks like a butterfly! I wish we could bottle light and open it on dreary days!
