A young deer romps in the long, evening shadows cast by wind-sculpted snow.
It's been a while since we've seen deer, so it was a treat when the herd came to call. This little guy was quite the trouble maker, chasing and pawing at his elders.

Great shot! They're fast!
This guy is moving at some speed! What I saw first, before I read the text, is almost a kangaroo. Really - with the front legs in motion and looking so short, I saw a sort of marsupial in motion...
The grasses look almost ready to push through the ever thinning cover of snow. At least I hope so :)
How fun! What a little bugger he is!! Nothing like a smart a-- deer to make the day! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

A trouble maker? Surely not! He looks far too sweet and innocent prancing in the snow like that. That is an awesome photo! Have a great week :)
This is beautiful!!!!

Nice! My sister in Texas has several roaming her neighborhood. It was fun taking walks at night and seeing them.
My camera would never be able to catch an action shot like that. Good job!
