Monday Photo Shoot: Reflections

This week's assignment over at Carly's is to find something shiny.

I just posted a pond shot I like, and I considered using that again, but I thought maybe I'd go with something a little different.

This is the nose cone of a little plane in the hanger at the airport where my son flies. Look closely at the first one, and you'll see the reflection of another plane, too. (Click photos to enlarge.)

Be sure to stop by at Monday Photo Shoot at Ellipsis to see what everyone else found, OK?

P.S. October 27: For those who have asked, this is a Pilatus PC12. It belongs to a local business.

Very cool pictures! The owner of that plane must really take pride in it to keep it so clean and shiny. I wish my stove top looked like that LOL

Hi Momma, It's really amazing how clean and shiny the hangar is at this airport. Everything is white, and not a speck anywhere.

Rambling, glad you liked them!

Those are really neat shots, love the second one, especially enlarged. Framed wonderfully and draws ones interest. Cool.

Hi Vicki!

This is just EXCELLENT! An airplane! I didn't expect that! GOOD JOB! I would love to know what kind of plane it is, and if it used for anything special, or if it is simply someone's plane used for fun. :) Wonderful.

I see a plane face, smiling, in the second one. Nice choice!

Cool shots. I like the distortion in the reflections from the shape of the nose cone

Thanks, guys!

Carly, the plane is a Pilatus PC 12, and it's a little corporate aircraft.

What a great thing to see and photograph! I like the second shot especially. I used to work for a company that had two planes. Two weeks after our office got a field trip to see the planes ourselves, the company went bankrupt.
