The former owners left us one green chair on the front porch. I don't know why. But I've enjoyed sitting there when the temperatures allow.
Soon I'll add more comfy accommodations and flowers, but for now I rather enjoy the stark simplicity of the one chair, the chilly air, and the wide, straight lines.

I love a good porch and this one looks so inviting with its wonderful shadows. Should be truly glorious once you add some more seating and flowers. Lovely.
Glad you like it, guys. It is a great place to sit, very peaceful. We will be adding more chairs and spending more time out there, I'm sure. Everyone's invited - tea for Sweet Repose, beer for Chris, and a big pitcher of lemonade.
Today, though, we're having snow. One more round of hot cocoa, anyone?
