Shadow Shots: Drifting

Drifts

Another quick shot in the cold, this one taken from the back sliding door. It's the path from the back door to the hubby's wood shop, mostly filled in by drifted snow. Without any references in the shot, it could be an aerial view of a mountain range, don't you think?

cool shot! (pun intended) I love the curved mounds of the snow and the jagged shadows they cast. Lovely.

This could be a cabin view of a flight over the snowy Alps. The reference points are not there, so our imaginations add a unique sense of perspective. Which is a fun pursuit :>)

It could indeed be a shot from a plane over snow covered mountains!! Incredible capture! Isn't it fun to have an active imagination! I love it! Hope your weekend is going well!
Stay warm!

With drifts like that, I'm sure the path to the shop seems formidable!

IF YOU SEE A SHADOW

If you see a shadow
And want to keep it near,
Point your trusty shooter
(Make sure the lens is clear);
Press with care the shutter,
Do not slam or sock it—
Then you’ll have a photo
To carry in your pocket!
