Ruby Tuesday: The Reddest Trees in Town

These maples line both sides of the street for a little way, and it's a real treat to pass under them on my way to work.

This is actually a photo from last year. These trees won't look like this for a while yet, but I wanted to share them for Ruby Tuesday in the Fall.

Check out the other entries at theteach's blog, Work of the Poet.

Gorgeous shot. A whole street lined with these trees must be a joy to the eye every day.

I love autumn red leaves. They're one of the things that make fall worthwhile. Especially splashed against a bright blue fall sky.

I tagged you. Come see.

I had an uncle once bring me a 6 inch seedling maple tree from the east. Here in Calgary, they aren't suppose to grow. All my friends laughed when I planted it in the middle of the yard, this 6 inch little tree, after 5 years was almost 5 feet tall :D. Then we had to move :( I hear the new owners took it out to put in a garage.

lol sorry got carried away with my maple tree memory.

Wow! Those are stunning! We don't get anything close to that here - just a dull orange and brown. I'm going to have to travel up north one day just to see something like that!
